I can't make up my mind, so I need some help. I've got Gas Filled Old Man Emu shocks on my 4 1/2 inch lifted 89 XJ. I don't like them, too soft and boy does it sway in the curves on the road. They also really bottom out the rig, when off road. Used to run Pro Comp ES3000 for the 3 in lift, I liked the firmness they had, but after the additional 1 1/2 inch lift, they blew out. I'm thinking about going back to Pro Comps but the ES9000 for a 4-5 inch lift. Anybody locally used these for our type of terrain ( Sierras) and if so your thoughts ? :rattle:

"Heavy duty" valved Bilstein 5100 are very nice. That usually a 255/70 valving.

The same in a 7100 would be even better.
