disco or no disco

finally getting the money to take care of my gears and locker situation and a question came up. would there be any benefit to pulling my disco 30 and bolting up an hp?
6.5" w 33s, 8.8 rear and 4.56s in the works

If it's a disco then it is HP, you just have the disco version. Now if your asking about swaping in a non-disco, for greater axle strenth then it would be a good idea. You can however modify the vacuum motor to disco the front axle if you wanted to run an automatic locker up front.
