Hey all -
I recently picked up an 87' XJ and the guy I purchased it from did not give me much to work with interior wise. I am in need of all that holds the door panels on, interior door handles, tail lights, head lamps, head lights, side markers, front grille, anything spare you might have. I am willing to pay for just a bucket of random whatever as long as they will piece together in the XJ.
I would make a big trip to Home Depot/Lowes but I am unsure of all the different thread sizes and what not that I would need.

Most interior screws should be #6 TEK or SEMS screws - check your local parts house for those.
Headlamp retainer ring screws should be "gettable" at the local as well - check the HELP! section for both. Most of the #6 screws you'll end up needing will be about an inch long.
The taillamps are retained, as I recall, by M6-1.0x20m/m or 25m/m hex heads - get those pretty much anywhere. If you can't find them with the "flange" style head (round contact surface,) I'd suggest getting washers to go with.
I can pillage around and see what spare stuff I might have for the "special" goodies (headlamp buckets, side marker lights, and such,) but let me know what you find first, so I don't have to look for quite so much, would you?

Thanks so much for the reply. I shall see what I can find. I also found I need the arm rest (two large bolts) that go into the door skin/frame. Need them for both the pass/driv side.

Tell ya what...
I've got an 89 that I've got to strip (although it's mostly there...) give me a better list of what you're looking for, and I'll see what I can do. Where possible, I'll give you a list of screw sizes, and for the rest, I'll send along what I can.
Suits?

Nice offer from 5-90...
But Abington isnt too far from a few u-pulls where you can grab all that hardware easily and cheap. Search for Harry's U-Pull It.

I will try to see if I can make a trip to a junk yard to pull interior screws. Just going to find it odd to walk up to a guy with a cup full of screws/bolts asking him to charge me lol
