Well I spent 8 hours of dewiring my 88 xj of all 4.0 wiring so my 5.2 wiring could be alone. I had layed the modified 5.2 harness over the 4.0 for about 6 months now. Also remove the trans and engine computer from under the dash. I got a good size shopping bag of wire that was removed. I do have some before and after shots. Also hid the amp wire and aux lights in the harness. Also install a remote starter for the lovely -15 days that we had week ago. Still have to do alittle work on the passenger side around the new fuse panel.

What kind of radiator are you using to keep it cool?

New aftermarket stock size 3 core. Haven't driven it in summer yet. Warmest I driven it has been 50s I think. The plan this summer to keep both electric fans and throw in a mech. fan if those aren't enough.

All that money to swap a 5.2 and look at that battery. Geeze man get a new one.

The battery is one year old. It is a recondition one but it rated 800 cold crank.

To let you know I didn't spend much on the swap.
-350 for donor 93 grand cherokee
+300 for scrap metal and selling stuff on ebay
-150 radatior and fans

So only have about 200 bucks into the swap plus my time.

Its dirty. Looks older then a year.

My Energizer car battery looked like that after 3 months.
