im buying a new high flow cat for my cherokee. i was just wondering how long the stock one is. my jeeps in connecticut right now and im in vermont so i cant get down there to measure it, but ill be home in a week so i want to order a cat so i can do my exhaust when i get home. my friend had one of these magnaflow high flow cats from ebay and told me to check ebay...

its going to the rustys flowmaster 40 cat back system which is 2.25 inlet, so i want a 2.25 in 2.25 out cat. what shape is the best too? there is the round or the oval.
one last question thats not cat related is, should i clamp the exhaust or should i have it welded?
