Grinding?

After installing the t-case I took my XJ around the block for a feeler.
The drive was perfect all gears shifted fine with no hesitation, but when I make a left hand turn I hear a binding/grinding noise. My front wheel bearing is shoot so this is one of my hypothesis and another one has something to do with the motor tranny and t-case shifting because of broken motor mount ( need to check tomorrow in daylight).

Fix what you know is wrong with it, and go from there.

I had a chain in a 231 go bad and when it started, it was only noticable when I made sharp left turns and the chain sounded like it would skip a tooth making a very loud pop.
