new t-case question

How do I know where the t-case position is relevant to the selector inside the cab?
How do I go about getting both into 2wd mode? I cant move the t-case selector w/o some kind of leverage or something.

I think 2wd is all the way forward on the t-case...at least the 231. Sounds like the linkage is binding.
