I have a set of the Chevy brake lines everybody else seems too have, for the c1500 truck. How is everybody getting those brackets off the middle? It’s a pain in the ass! I’m scared I will cut them, stab them etc.

I clamped mine in a vise by the flat part of the bracket, then scored the back part that goes around the line with a cutoff wheel and pried it off!!!!!

Good idea, I will borrow my friends dremel to do this. I dont think it would be too smart to use the angle grinder. Thanks for the help.

Do these bolt right in? I have a set and it looks like the top thread is larger then the metal tube on the xj and they do not look like they will fit, am I wrong?

These bolted right in, and work fine. If i did it again i would use the brackets as mounts, not cut them off.
