Im getting frustrated!

Ive been reading a lot on installing a trans cooler. I know its not that complicated but everything seems to conflict when trying to locate the return line to the transmission.

The return line into the tranny is located farthest to the rear of the transmission, right? Secondly as i follow this line it enters into the top of the radiator. This is were i seem to get conflicting reports.

HELP HELP HELP... I want to finish this.

I read this already and it was helpful... thanks for the response. Just when i apply what they are saying it doesn't make sense. But all in all im probably goning to tap into the location that looks the closest to the one in his photo.

The routing for the tranny cooler will vary depending whether your Jeep had the factory tow package which included a heavier cooler up front. Without it, the tranny lines went through the radiator only.

My FSM CD is still packed up somewhere or I'd look for the routing diagrams.

Yes, the return line is the rear-most line connected to the tranny.
