i'm looking for a new set of 35x12.5x15 inch mud terrains. anybody seen any specials while cruising the net? have 33 inch pro comps xterrians and they were a little noisy on the road so might want to try something else. any suggestions?

No point ordering them from the net unless they are Canadian distributed. There will be duty, taxes and shipping tagged on if they come over the border. In almost all cases, its cheaper to find them locally for us Canucks...

Have you got a local tire distributor in Kimberley (its been years since I've been there). The other choice would be ordering them in Alberta, using an Albertan payment address and then shipping them to Kimberley. Most parts are cheaper in Alberta and there ain't no taxes...

Really? Wow, they've risen. My local dudes range in the BFG's from 260 to 290 plus taxes, mounted and balanced.

Yeah, thats about what my guys charge too. But I'm cheap and got 33x12.5" Aurora MT's for $200 a piece with steelies, mounted, and balanced.

I just recently splurged for BFG AT's in a 31 flavour. They came to 825ish mounted and balanced...

Is that from a local shop? Seems a little pricey, my 33's came to $850 with wheels, mounted and balanced like I said. But obviously the brand Aurora isnt as well know as BFG.

It was Westcoast Tire in Sooke. They beat the next competitor by 160 or so bucks. Everything on the island's at a fricking premium...
