I was recently at the ORBA Supershow in DelMar, and this guy was in the booth next to us.

Anyways, this is the owners XJ, company is Competitive Metals, a metal supplier.

It's built in sort of a baja fashion.

Hi Pinion Dana 60's, coilvers all the way around
430c.i. farting race gas and sounding mean (he said smallblock, I believe it started life as a 427, I'm not as v8 educated as I should be)
Atlas T-case
Sits on a full tube frame/chassis
Lots of cool sheetmetal work
38" BFG Krawlers, walker evans beadlocks
12" longer wheelbase

screw it, here's my crappy camera phone pics

seemed plenty beef to me...full hydro with Chromoly links, and a full chromoly tie-rod above it...I doubt it'll ever break.
