I have a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Country I-6 and was looking into wiring a Extended Idle Switch in mine.
How do i hook into the ECU and IAC Ac??
Help!!

NOTE - The "Extended Idle" option was ONLY available with the AMC242/4.0L I6 engine equipped with the automatic transmission. I've been collecting FSM's, and I plan to (someday - let me get a couple other things done first...) do a "generic" writeup with specific information for as many model years as possible.
It seems to have been an OBD-II and late OBD-I option, but research will out. I think it got started around 1994/5.

It raises the idle for when your parked and running your lights or winch even.

so its more like an idle up solenoid. i thought all cars came with that. my 86 300zx has that.
