I've got all the tools and nessicary equipment to make my own arms. The reason being because I've got 4in of lift and I'm running out of castor ajustment on my factory arms and that's causing some nto so good steering problems.

What my question is, what is the correct way measure the correct length arms for my application?

Measure eye to eye. Typically measured in inches, but I'm sure you could use a metric tape.

The length you need will be the amount necessary to bring the castor back into spec (6 - 8 degrees). Setup the axle at ride height undet the jeep. With an anglefinder and a tape measure you'll have the measurement you need in no time.

Find the length you need to make the caster correct and make adjustable arms to give you an inch's worth of adjustability, from the original measurement.

Would standard DOM with threaded inserts be ok for this setup? Thanks guys.

At least 1.75" x .120. Anything less will eventually bend.
