my daily driver was sitting for 9 months while i found time to replace a piston. since getting it running ive noticed a faint whine when i accelerate from a stop. like when i leave a stop sign or red light. what could be some causes of this. diff fluid? trans issue? as always, thanx guys.

My 97 whines in first gear, alot of vehicle whine in lower gears. Crown Vics whine really loud in first.
