Fan rotation?

I just installed a new electric cooling fan in my 98. Then I noticed the conector is not correct:smsoap:. I have cut off the conector and replaced it with the one off my old fan . Now my problem is I don't know which way the fan should turn. It is one with the curved blades. I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks. Chris
