Well, this may not belong in the this forum but check this out...

This morning I walk into work and my boss calls me over to the crowd around the order desk and hands me the keys to a 92' XJ Laredo with 87,000 original miles. Now I have not seen it but according to him (he is all about the appearance) he tells me that it is in mint condition and all it needs is a battery and some suds.

I go to pick it up tomorrow after work and I'll post pic's.

and OH the best part...ITS FREE! YEP FREE!

I work at at Distribution Warehouse in Mass. for small mom and pop's appliance and electronics to compete with the big chains. I run a clamp/squeeze and forklift truck. My boss has watched my build up from it's begining and knows I love XJ's.

His farther has a neighbor who had this in his yard for six months, run on weekends and the like. He wanted to dump it but did not want to go through selling it. In conversation I came up and he said, "If he wants it, it's his."

The rest is history. :eeks1: :D :thumbup:

Right now Cumberland, but grew up in Jamestown and Wickford. Spent most of my summers sailing my 27' Alban Vega 'round Newport and hanging out at Fort Adams. :wierd:
