Leaking roof rails

I have a 2000 sport with a sunroof. The metal around the sunroof seal was rusted a little. It leaked pretty bad before I fixed it up and sealed it.

Last night we got a lot of rain and sleet. When I got inside I heard a dripping and I looked and water was pooling on the inside of the headliner. I squeezed it and about a pint came out total.

It's been fixed since october and hasnt leaked once like this, then again it hasn't rained much.

The sunroof was sealed pretty good and it does have clean drainage tubes.

I was thinking the roof rails could get water inside the adjuster holes and then pool up inside and then leak in through where the rails are bolted.

Has anyone ever had leaking problems without a sunroof?
