so on my 89' i trimmed my fenders and cut off the whole mounting lip for the stock flare. are bushwacker flares still compatible with the rear of my jeep im not worried about the front because i can get replacement fenders.

gosh i cant even remember where the stock locations are.... did you cut past the spot welds? or did you do the cut and fold around the welds.

if you cut them off have you had issues with your unibody separating back there? cause those are kinda structural considering that it is a unibody.

well i left the top ones on but not the sides im gonna put a filler piece on and weld it in

I forget where the stock flares mounted on my '99, but I circled the BW mounting holes so you can compare.
