Poopy dark video and sound enclosed:
Noisy jeep startup sound (http://fileanchor.com/53251-d)

I don't know whether it's a rod knock (bad) or a bad piston slap (Okay), but my 89 XJ 4.0 makes this noise about 50% of the time I start it up, no matter whether it's hot or cold. And sometimes when the clacking noise is heard, it can last for a few seconds, kinda scary.
It also likes to make it when I push it hard and rev up past 3k RPM's, and especially when I let off the gas to let it upshift. Any diagnosis? It's probably made this noise for at least 20k miles, and doesn't seem like it's going to blow up anytime soon. Jeep 4.0's are known to be really noisy, just wondering if I have any reason to be concerned.

Thats not piston slap. It does sound like it could be rod knock, but I'd have to hear it more to be able to tell better.

Might be flex-plate bolts are loose.
