Is there such a thing? Or a national with a Colorado Chapter?
I'm parting an '88 735i and would like to post an ad.
I posted at Bimmerforums.com but they don't have chapters, don't have PM ability (seriously....) and if you try to post pics, they delete your ad unless you've been around the forums for a while. HUGE pain in the ass to post there.
If any of you know of a local forum, lemme know - I'd like to part this one out a bit before it goes to the crusher.

I'm not thinking Troy is wanting to ship parts all over God's Green Earth...............;)

He might get someone to drive over and buy the whole thing. I parted out a Jeeps in Iowa and I had to ship everything. It isn't as much work as you would think. I can sell a transmission for 300 bucks compared to 100 bucks local don't think that is worth a half hour to ship? I sold AX15 to guy in Ohio for 425 bucks plus 75 bucks shipping. Cost me 60 bucks to ship. Then I sold the bellhousing to another guy for 50 bucks and 20 bucks shipping. We are spoiled around here since there are so many parts laying around for cheap. Guys out east are hurting for parts. Jeeps are like gold out there. So I am sure there is someone searching for BWM parts Ebay seems to be a good place to unload some.

maybe PM rob patterson, when he was stationed in germany he was buying parts in wrecking yards and selling them on the internet.

I'm not gonna speak for Troy. But being as I was around when this little venture got off the ground, I have a pretty good idea of how he is looking to do things. And I can almost promise that shipping transmissions is not something he wants to be doing.

Yeah, I just don't have the time right now to start trying to do e-bay auctions and shipping.
But Stang5lgt isn't complaining...... he's sold parts bought from me and made his money on Ebay.

Caprice: '83 ex-cop car. Bought it from the guy who bought it from Minturn PD or something like that in '87. 305 engine with no A/C.... had to be a mountain PD car to not have A/C. They replaced the Turbo350 with a rebuilt 700R4 7000 miles ago, then it got rearended during a snow storm. I need the steering column, rear axle (10 bolt) and trans for my '46 Olds.
The van: '89. Picked up the W/P today at NAPA. BIG friggin pump and heavy! Cast iron, not aluminum. Gonna be fun...... ALL the accessory brackets bolt to the damn thing.
