97 sport 4.0 I have a rumbling in the back sounded like a loose shock. I checked the shocks, one of the bushings was shot so i changed them double checked the exhaust was tight.
Now I still have a low rumble when going over rough roads. It had a metal to metal sound which stopped after the shocks were changed any ideas?
Also I was thinking of flushing the tranny but I think I'm just going to drop the pan and change the filter. Here is the thing when I went to get the filter and dexron they are telling me that the newer atf fluid is now compatible with dexron which it definitely said on the label(castrol) but is this ok? or should i track down some dexron?
