the worst sound ever

ok so my 89 xj has a real bad kind of winding buzzing sound coming from the rear of the jeep its not the axel as far as i can tell i took it all apart changed the fluid and berrings i am out of ideas can anyone help i am open the suggestions:helpme: :bawl: :helpme:

o ya and it oly make the god awful sound when i hit the gas

The noise is probably your fuel pump. Its normal, but make sure you have a ballast resistor (its located in the engine compartment toward the front of the driver side fender). It has two wires that go to it. Someone may have bridged it out. I think its a 1 ohm resistor and it helps quieten the noise the fuel pump makes.

no its not the pump it is really load not a qiute hum like the pump makes i can hear it over the motor and radio

the sound isnt coming form the exhaust its cut off at the cadi which is new and the header is as well:huh:
