I'll see a set in person on Thursday as Stebel got a set. He said they're pretty cool. The pics though don't have me too sold on 'em though.

I've got a set.
They are pretty sweet. They have the molle webbing around the seat bottom too. I am really happy with mine. There are tons of other pouches available too, I'm adding a camelback to mine soon. They do take up quite a bit of leg room from the rear seat though.

Any pictures? Do you have the full back seats or the adjustable headrest style? I have the headrest style and want to make sure they will fit correctly. I tried to check them out at 4 Wheel Parts but they did not stock them. Bummer. I really want one for the drivers side, so the occasional rear passenger and sit on the passenger side, in the rear. Don't want to pop down $100 for something that doesn't fit my seat.
Thanks! :D

Mind taking some detail pictures and posting them up?

I'll try not to forget :)
Anyways, the deal is: the covers are great for the fact that you can attach a lot of things to it, but also that's the weakness as well. The places you'd want to attach IMHO would get in the way with the exception of the seat's back but that's not a great benefit cause there are seat covers out there that have storage in the back already. Oh yeah, if your seat is kind of bedraggled looking, this seat cover is not the cover to hide it.

I use one of the gernade pouches to hold my cb, the bag on the side of the seat makes use of an otherwise useless space.

I don't have the back organized quite the way I want it yet, I'm going to be adding a camel back to each seat soon. With the bigger bags mounted on the bottom you loose quite a bit of leg room in the rear seat, but I can still fold my rear seat down with them in place.

Thanks for the pictures. I think you saved me $100. Looking at your setup, this would not work for the seats with the seperate head rests. The one piece seats like you have seem to work fine but not having the upper part of the seat, the top mounting area would have nothing to wrap around.
Bummer...

Can somebody explain the "Molle" mounting system it's talking about. I tried finding a pic of the back of one of the pouches but I couldn't. So, the back of this seat cover is just covered with those mounting points and you can buy different pouches/bags (like on cheaperthandirt.com) and put whatever you want on it?

What Molle is a way to strap modules into it (don't know how to describe it better). The mount points are on the back, front and sides of the seat cover.

I just got mine today ..
I can say that like for an item made in china - its pretty heavy duty - same good craftsmanship like on the US made modern army gear - strong sewing, cordura etc
It fis very well on my one piece seat - 97 XJ
I wish they were selling just a cover it self though - without all these pouches. Reason is that I have enough all kind of army molle stuff I can put on. And altough I would love to get another cover for passanger side - I dont feel like spending another $100 for a pouches I alredy have. I could use just the set panel itself for lets say $25 or so...
anyway - I like it and I think its one of the best "gadgets" for my truck I'v ever bought

Is there anything in the seat bottom piece that prevents it from sliding around or would I have to load up those pouches with rocks?

Anyone know how I could light a fire under Smittybilt's customer service? Sent them three emails in as many weeks and haven't heard back.
Guess I'll try their number tomorrow.

Call them, you shouldn't rely on emails so much. its a lot easier to get a straight answer when your on the phone with someone.

What are you guys using your pouches for?
I use one of the Frag grenade pouch for my CB handset.
The other grenade pouch holds my headlamp.
I've got a flashlight in one of the sheaths and a multitool in the other.
I keep a microfiber cloth in one of the big pouches for cleaning windows/spills.
The other utility pouch has a tire pressure gauge and some other small tools.
I keep a rain coat in one of the side open pouches.
The other side open pouch has a small blanket in it.
I have my GPS stuff in one of the gadget bags.
I use one of the roll up dump pouches for trash, with a shopping bag as a liner.
Can't figure out what to put in the ammo pouches, been thinking about maybe using it for extra batteries.
It is amazing how much stuff these seat covers can hold. I still have quite a bit of room left in my pouches for more stuff.
I have had several back seat passengers now, without any issues.

Ammo?
They aren't big enough to hold the amount of ammo I shoot, but that is another story.
In all seriousness I was thinking about getting a couple mag pouches to keep some of my AK mags in, but in IL they don't like it when a loaded mag is within reach of the driver.

I bet if someone contacted Raingler, they would make similar covers and they would probably be of better material and better fitting.

Yep, I just noticed their site is down. I wonder if they are still selling their stuff retail or just through dealers now?
I dont know if they would make them or not. When I saw the seat covers, I just thought that would be a cool product for them to make and they are good people and make good quality stuff.
EDIT: There site is back up now. It says they no longer sell directly but Im sure you could contact them to see if they would consider adding this type of seat cover to their product list.

Guess what? Supposedly they are out for the XJ now. Well at least they say that now, they appear to be the same "cut" as the wrangler ones, I'll be checking that and checking back.

Whats so great about em?

Light weight, little noise, easy to unhook, don't have to unthread from molle gear in order to release. They aren't the best for heavy gear, but for lightweight stuff they are great. The "teeth" on the end of the clasp on metal carabiners always get hooked on my molle webbing when I am trying to unhook them, which makes it a pain to get them off quickly. The key is to use the best product for the job. I use the grimlocks for small stuff for the same reason that I don't use log chain to tie my boots.
