Would it work to mount the ram in the current location of the steering stabilizer? It appers that the axle mount would need to be reinforced, but other than that it looks doable. Anyone have any input on this idea?

lots of discussion in that thread.
You will have to put a new mount on the axle, the stabilizer mount is just sheetmetal.
