I want to thank those who have had patience with not having shop days just yet. We just finished with the Weber State's Ultimate Mechanic ASE skills contest, which more than 200 schools competed in from six states. Part one was a written test which eliminated all but the top 24 schools and they came back for part 2. The last segment had 12 stations in which the students had 15 mins. each station to trouble shoot the problem and receive their score. At the awards ceremony Thursday night they announced the BEST OF THE BEST in the Intermountain West, Box Elder High School Auto Shop took 3 place which meant my students won a years scholarship at WSU, a nice Snapon tool box and the school got a new 2005 GMC trailblaser. Now in two weeks we go to CALIFORNIA for the big trip and after that we can have shop days again. thanks again for your patience, Jerry: party:

Congratulations!
The delay works better for me since I don't get my yearly bonus until March. :D

My school (West) took first in customer service (9th overall). Who needs scholarships when you've got a shiny plaque hanging in your shop?!
