From what a couple of friends of mine tell me (went to a game at Lambeau last fall,) not only no, but HELL no. The seats are extruded or formed aluminum and work pretty well as heat sinks.

That's alright, all of the REAL football teams, like the Bears and the Cowboys, will be at home, nice and warm. Only a retard would play in such terrible weather.
The Bears already beat the fudge Packers twice, what more do you want?

4* feels like -13*, weather channel said it's gonna be cold for a while. Sucks because I just ordered bunch of stuff for the Heep and I know when it gets here I gonna want to install it right away. Anybody close with a heated garage, I'll buy the beer.

Green Bay in with its .02, it is currently 0* overnite low of -6*, tomorrow high of 6* then the wind picks up and for game time on Sunday (5:30pm) kickoff at 2* and windchills to -35*, yes extruded aluminium benches (but you are packed in pretty tight), unless you sit in the new part, rows above 60, then its plastic i think, also your feet on the cold concrete will do more than you think. Anyone besides me crazy enough to go? there was actually a story on the news tonite about a couple selling their tix because of the cold.

Trust me its not the cold that has them selling their seats. With the ticket prices ranging from $500 to over $1000 its the cash.

Yes that concrete will freeze your ass, but put enough booze in ya... and you know. As for the temp check in, I am sitting at -2 with a -20 or so windchill. Oh and Ghostbusters is on so who knows if I will drag my ass out to the garage (unheated) to test the TPS today. LOL
And for who ever blessed their Optima... I agree. The red top in mine is about the best thing I have done for the old girl.

Real Jeeps don't have an engine big enough to require a block heater and will start in any kind of weather ;)
As for the Football. <shrug>

Just a little sluggish this morning still a crank or two but turned a lil slower than normal. -8 according to the jeep thermometer on my way home at 3 am last nite. and your rite gb fans well, i'm a saner one, but a lot of ppl will be good and boozed up for the game since its cold and its at 5:30 pm, gives them all day for the bars. And that story about selling tix, it was actually on the news that they were selling because it was cold, but im sure the money are getting from them helps them get over missing the game. stocked up on hand warmers for the game tomorrow, hope im not dissapointed.

Got back from my ice fishing tournament last night. Had a blast!! Had a fire Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Temps were below zero the entire time!! Wasn't too bad to stand there by the fire until we ran out of pallets.:D My friend Mike won the tournament for the third time in five years. :yelclap: Can't wait till next year.

thank you genious. the wind chill effects us. i could care less about my jeep starting. i know it will. and as for staying out of the wind, kinda tough when you've gotta go out the the parking lot of a dealership to try to start a 1 ton deisel when the fuel is gelled over becuase it's been sitting outside unplugged for the last 4 days.. then i've gotta go get another truck to try and pull the other one in. thats what sucks.

I started up the Expy this afternoon after it sat for the last week or so. Turned over slow, but no problem. The XJ and the Durango have been fine, minus the sticky IAC on the D making it rev to 3k for a couple seconds when you start it.
