Where the heck is my rear defroster button?

My vehicle has the lines in the back window for the rear defroster however I cant find the button to turn it on. Its a 94 2 door sport.

yes i have searched and no I havnt found anything.:anon:

on my 89, its to the left of the steering column on the dash. or to the right of the headlight switch.

Maybe someone has replaced the back glass with one from a junk yard. Are the wire hooked up in the back?

Even if it is not the original window, all the wiring should be in place.....just maybe not connected. If it is not hooked up the wiring should be somewhere in the hatch and then you just need a button to turn it on (the wiring for the button should be in the dash). You might also need to make sure there is a fuse in place for the defroster for everything to work.

I didint think of that. Ill check to see if the wiring is there.

It's the very first switch to the left of the column. It's tucked in there pretty well...but even still, I would think you would be able to find it. Unless you are just totally blind. But if you were blind, I would assume you do not have a Jeep to go wheeling in.
