Callin 90% chance of snow for tommorow.. which means Caney Fork will be thick with it.. Located in Cullowhee, NC, 45 mins from SC, GA, and TN...

Yup...I've been watching this closely. They are calling for 1-2 inches in Cullowhee with another 1-2 inches possible. The way I'm seeing this is there could be 1" and there could be 6" up there. Timing is going to be everything with this storm coming through. I noticed they are also calling for snow on Saturday.

Zac, are you back at WCU? I might be willing to come up and run it with you if I know for a fact there is snow on the ground. I haven't chased snow yet this year, Saturday would be a good day for it! Keep me updated...I might have a friend with a TJ that might come up with me if I go.

Yeah, at about 8:00 we had about 1/2"-1"...enough to cover the grass...then it started switching to a mix...now it's sleeting and freezing rain. I went out earlier and played around a little. Our roads actually got covered in areas.

Zac, I only have A/T's...they're aggressive A/T's but they are still A/T's. You think I'll be ok? I know overall it's not too bad but there are some spots that might be a slight problem getting grip.

Damnit. Considering I can't get anybody to drive with me and the expected weather conditions and I wasn't able to get my front tow hook installed I don't think I'm going to make it. I'm not to big on driving up there by myself in the snow and it looks like it'll be icy by the time I have to drive home. If I could get away with staying tomorrow night I'd do that but I have a commitment that I can't drop.

Sucks....hopefully you guys will get another snow before the winter is over. If nothing else, I'm still planning on going skiing probably the first weekend in Feb so I'm planning on doing a run to Caney Fork then.
