i know it isnt xj related, my buddy has a zj stock and he wants to do a 3-3.5" lift utilizing new coils. rumor on the street is u can use either the front or the rear coils (i forgot) and put them on the oppisite end and it lifts it 3"? he was going to order a old man emu setup (http://www.rocky-road.com/zjtrailblazer.html)
but they said they dont have the pieces and need to get them and it will take 2 weeks then they must ship it out to us so we canceled that order and now he's kind of stuck. we figured 3-3.5" would be ok with stock control arms im just curious about that coil spring question and what we'd have to do to safely, effectively, lift it. (aka track bar front or rear? driveshafts should be okay..) thansk in advance
