Anyone know what serial numbers this ran to? Is there any way I can check online to see if mine is elligeable? and do I have to pay for the labour to fix this?

if its a recall, you dont pay for anything...parts or labor...

thats what I thought, but a friend of mine has an 89 and he had a recall on his ABS system, and they charged him 8X what he payed for the vehicle to fix it IN PARTS ONLY???

The ABS recall only recalls the pump..if I recall.

It just dosn't cover the accumulator.

Once that abs light comes on and you verify it's the controller thats it, no more abs for me. I never liked it in the wifes olds and the ZJ is just going to have to live without it. Once it warms up this spring the bulb comes out at the same time the new head unit goes in.
