Decided to go for one of those XJ drives through the hills today and at the beginning everything was dandy. Went half way up the hill and had to startel a double rut, you guys know where theres the 2 rut with pieces of solid land on the sides. Well I though everything was gonna be cool started my climbin over them and the drivers wheel decided it had other plans. So into the ruts I went and hi-centered myself pretty good. Wasnt expecting this to happen this is another reason why rain ruins things. Started digging on for an hour and a half and to no avail didnt get out. Called my friend with another cherokee :D and got winched out.
I feel embarrassed and such that but oh well might as well tell the :NAXJA: guys to get a good laugh.

Hahahaha that has happened to the best of us, but the trick is to NEVER GO OUT ALONE!!! Cardinal rule man, even the simple stuff can eat you up.

Getting stuck unexpectedly is nothing to be embarassed about, it's really just another lesson learned! I'm glad you had access to help though, because being stuck alone can be downright scary.

I've watched locked rigs on 35's get hung up on a rock that several open/open rigs on 32's just walked over or through. It happens, it's part of wheeling, and it can actually be a blast LOL.

Wheel on brother!

No pics but just think of this
My rear end way about 2inches of the rut and all the tires where free spinning even with me digging the t-case,crossmember, and front axel loose.

NEVER go alone. There are always people, especially here, who will go with you. Easy, med, or tough - doesn't matter. Things happen on the trail & being out there by yourself is just like skwirrly said, downright scary. Glad u okay though. We live & learn
