Speedometer troubles....

Another question from me. My tachometer works, but my speedometer doesn't work! It works sometimes. What could be the problem here? Thanks again!!

What year? 91+ it'll be your vehicle speed sensor (VSS) located on your transfer case, most likely. If it's 87-90, then your speedo cable might be hooped.

Does it just stay at 0 or does it move around?

i am also having this same problem sometimes it will read 0 other time 65 and the all of sudden for no reason it works? it's a 93 if it is the VSS how do i replace it?
