add a leaf ?

I'v done a search and came up with nothing..... so I thought that one of you might be able to tell me how exactly how to add the new leaf to the stack once you put them out ? they seem to be clamped together and I dont want to do anything stupid. help please and thanks.

If you cant get the spring eye bolts lose, dont worry, you dont really even need to drop the springs to install an AAL.
Jack up Jeep.
place jackstands under frame.
place floor jack under axle pumkin.
remove ubolts.
lower axle enough to remove center pin.
use "C" clamp to clamp leaf springs tightly together.
remove leaf spring clamps
remove center pin.
slowly loosen "C" clamps.
take the spring pack apart and insert AAL in the proper place so the leafs get progressively shorter.
reverse proceedure.
dont forget to torque bolts correctly and to replace hardware (ubolts, spring clamps, center pins) as needed.
recheck torque after a few hundred miles.

PS: you may be able to slide the AAL in without removing the spring clamps depending on what kind of clamps they are.
