2000 steering wheel electrical problem

Helping a buddy out here.

After replacing a steering box everything electrical in the steering wheel quit.

The horn and cruise quit and the airbag light came on.

Has anyone else seen this problem or know what it could be?

probably screwed up the clock ring in the wheel.
Pull the steering wheel and investigate.

even regular price was 127.

Maybe Utah has cheaper parts.

mine did the same thing, I pulled it apart and repaired the connections in it. It says it cannot be serviced, but there are screws to allow it to be put together, had to gove it a try, works well no prob for year and a half now
