If you had a chance to pick up a front and rear Trail Ready Bumpers (used) for $500 would you?

Heck yeah! Just wish they made a tire carrier for that rear bumper!

No kidden huh, I can build a tire carrier though...These will need new paint but I figured for the price how could I go wrong with a set of bumpers like that for $500.

Seemed like a deal to me too..

I wouldn't if I had it to do over again. $500 is cheap though. I have done many mods to my Trail Ready's to make them stronger and more functional. But one thing you will never get rid of with them is weight. They are heavy !

I was playing with side view pictures of my jeep and his. He's not runnig any flares at all and hasn't trimmed.
I've trimmed and running Pocket Flares. Looking at the two comparisons i'd have to cut all four corners off and rebox them to make them work.

Even at $500 for both bumpers, which is a deal an a half, that seems like alot of fabbing to get them to fit?

Nope, but I can fab my own for a fraction of that cost. Lighter and better clearance too.
It is a good deal, but their product is a little too Super-Duty-ish for me.........YMMV.

I would, I love my zj fornt bumper was built for a tank it is heavy though solid unit

Take a look closer look at BigBear's XJ. He's got the BW pocket flares with his TR bumpers and it looks damn good IMO, well worth the needed mods.
I used to have a picture of it hosted but I can't find it now. :dunno:
