Well, let me think about this for a minute. I wanna be able to wheel and then come back, park and then be able to wheel again without breaking shit and my junk sets for months at a time.
But hey, it is a jeep and things break...Wheel it, break it, fix it, wheel it again.
But like dan says, 8 is a good number in 08.

I'd like to fill my gas tank for less than 20 bucks. Is that a goal or a pipe dream?

Now that is highly possible, do you realize how much space a peso takes and how many you can get for a buck. Of course one at a time in the filler neck could take some time...

Hey all, happy new year from GA.
I want to get the POS XJ built and on the trails by June. Cash is the really hold up right now. But I will get it done.
If ya'll want to donate to the cause I need everything to get it up 4" so I can run some 34" LTBs.
Be good fellas.

I Conver from closed cooling to open cooling. orderd a csf 3-row "Offroad" haha radiator, hose's,thermostat, etc to make a open cooling system got all that done today, went and tested her out and cant get it past 210 to save my life so im happy there... Anyways' my goal's are to get 4.5 spring's in the front to level her out. upgrade my steering "any one a good cheap way let me kno", Cut rear QP, Rhino my roacker's/lower half of jeep.. Make some new Bumper's with the new welder, install onboard air an extra batt... And wheel n meet with the group...

1 run per month minimum (possibly 2 some months because while i'm on the island i probably won't get to go much), but 12 trips at least for the year.
Armor. Lots of armor. Need some skids, rock sliders, rear bumper.
Most immediately is to stop procrastinating and do the SYE kit.

This years goal for the junk is to get the cooling system working at 100% effeciency, get rid of 2.5" skyjacker and get 3" RE, hopefully get an Atlas 2 t-case, get a rear and possibly front locker with better gearing than my 3.55, build a bumper with my Syncrowave and 7010, and if all works well maybe go to JV with friends in late spring.

January 3rd, 2008, 17:41
I want to lift it to about 5" or so. I have 6.5" coils to put in but I will be building a front bumper at some point so I expect it to sit lower. 2X6 rock rails, heavy duty steering, and various skid plates and strengthening measures. Oh and wheel as much as I can.

Hmmm....I still want to own five XJ's by next year.
There is always something to work on, so finding projects for '08 won't be difficult.
Turbo Subaru in the sand buggy...
Install the 44 in the front of the XJuggy..
Truss up a couple of 30's..
Get a Hi-9..
Make it to all the best runs...
Spend June in Hawaii...(25th wedding anniversary)
Take August off...(well...at least half of August in Big Bear)
Spend October in Utah...(one week with a bunch of wacko's and another with my wife!)
Get the son's XJ out of my garage...
Maybe even build a tube buggy!
:D

My Goals:
1. Fix my oil adapter o-ring leak
2. Replace motor mounts
3. tighten/rebuild CA joints
4. Install my 7100s up front
5. Get a winch
6. Get a better tcase skid
7. Get new rear leafs
8. Wheel once a month (if I'm lucky)
9. Fix all the stuff broken from wheeling and repeat
10. Moab in Oct
I think most of those are attainable. :)
