New Locker install ???

I just installed a ez locker in my front, before I drive it around the block is there anything I can check for ? Its all together except for the wheels, im going to modify the lower control arm brackets. Its my first locker install and I want to make sure its right.

i assume this is a new locker? they had major problems with the D30 locker 2 years ago and i had 2 of them. they went bad almost immediately... the teeth werent locking together tightly and it was just ratcheting on normal driving. if its bad you'll know. i assume if they are selling them again theyve fixed the problems.
