94XJ 2 Door, 5 Speed, Modded in CT

Im looking to get rid of this to keep racing my subaru this year, we just had the new engine fail and the first event of the 08 season is just around the corner, and we need to buy a new wrx motor. So she needs to go....

Its a 94 Cherokee, 4.0HO, 5-Speed, 2 Door with a 4" rubicon Express Lift, two sets of tires and wheels (33x10.5 Swampers on simu-lock wheels (5 of them) and a set of 4 33x12.5 Baja Claws, one is new, one has some life...the others are spent.

When I purchased this I was told it only had 76K on it, the gauge cluster was replaced 10 thousand ago to get rid of the dummy gauges. When I registered it I put 180K just to make sure there were no problems. I have the stock cluster still around.

When the newer style one was swapped in they werent able to hook up the water temp, everything else works.

Truck runs great, its alot quicker than I expected.

The E-brake needs to be tightened, all the wheel bearings are tight, the front breaks squeel but pads and rotors look good. The rear end has some signs of oil seepage but levels are good. Just flushed and threw in some nice tranny cocktail.

Has a nice cargo rack with 4 lights up top.

Included comes a pretty much new high lift jack and a warn recovery kit.

Passenger side was hit while th previous owner had it. It has been wheeled but has been taken care of.

Also needs a new muffler, cat was replaced.

What I havent been able to figure out is a clunk in the front end when under load in 4 wheel drive. I cant tell what exactly it is.

Tracks nice and straight for a lifted jeep, very fun to drive. Threw in a new battery and new terminals for the winter.

This was my first Jeep and I have to admit I loved it, very fun to own.

I just hope theres a good enough market right now for them, seems to me everyone has gotten there winter toys.

There are two spots of rust at the lower bottom edge of the front door due to the hit. Those are the only two spots of rust on the whole truck, I was able to POR 15 the wheel wells this winter and a few random spots on the undercarraige that had some surface rust and follow up with some undercoating before winter hit.

Here are some interior shots. I was planning on removing the carpet in the rear of the jeep and herculineing it due to how discolored it is, but i never got to it. Everything in the back comes with the truck. The front seats clean up well, they could use a quick clean, but overall. for a 94, the interior is pretty nice. Thats one thing I always need to keep clean when driving a vehicle.

I pm;d you as well, but the tow rig is down for the winter with a motor issue, so id have to either fold the seats down, and stack the other set of tires in and drive up with a friend behind me, or borrow my budddies truck but its a dog on gas.

Im looking to get rid of this to start saving up for a production car for the dirt.

Worse case it may need a new front end or t-case which only cost between 50 and 100 bucks, they are a dime a dozen, usually free from wheelers who upgrade. You may be able to use some of the spares included with the truck

lol i hear ya, but one less project will help me in more way than a finacial burden. I already have an offroad truck thats been put ont he back burner due to the jeep. Once the jeep is gone I can focus on that and racing.
