When i ordered my first set of gears for my dana 30 the pinion was to long...i talked to the tech dept of 4wheelparts and they said that i would need to use a TJ ring and pinion....when i got th TJ parts the pinion was def a lot shorter after the install everything went well...i wheeled for about two months with these gears rechecking the backlash and all that good stuff until one day i got a little throttle happy and sheared my ring gear .....so after all this crap what im wondering is do i have the dana 30 Short? or what do they call this axle?
