dont know where this would go so sorry.

Buddy of mine is stuck and calls me to pull him out but i dont have any tow points. Is there anything i could attach the recovery strap to that wont hurt the jeep?

oh i figuired i would rip the axle right off.

unfortunately the safest point is to wrap the strap around the rear axle where it crosses a leaf spring. Using this is not reccomended, and I wouldn't get over zealous "yanking". Only steady gradual pulls.

Be sure you don't use a tow strap or rope with hooks on the end, and put a blanket over the line to absorb any energy if it should snap.

Warning! if you get a good running start and yank on him with your axle used as a tow point you can yank the axle out from under your jeep, or break a leaf or leaf attachment point. be prepared for next time, spend 100 bucks on a towing reciever.
