89xj 3.07 5spd. 31inch tires speedo?

stock tire size would be around a 28 so you are only about 2 mph or so off with 31's. mine is off by 3 or 4 and i'm running 33's.

The OEM tire size is a 225X75X15 which is about 28"
A 31" tires is about 30.5" on average.
So the conversion factor is 30.5/28 or 1.089
Multiply your speedo or OD reading by 1.089 to get the actual speed or milage.
At 60mph your speed should read on your speedo as 55.5 mph
