Must the exhaust be removed to clear an AW4 tranny? I searched but all I found was for the AX-15.

Thanks

Not sure, but you might as well. It's really not that hard to pull the front pipe off.

I'm having an AW4 installed in my jeep is there any problems with the late 90's on into 01 with planetary gears or any other parts in the trans?

might be a problem with spline counts on the t-case input.
nevermind you said LATE 90's not EARLY 90's... gah its late.

So I can pull the downpipe off the manifold and above the crossmember is the other disconnecting point.

Thanks, I just didn't want any suprises.

Because the engine will be lowered some for access to the top bolts I would drop the front pipe so it don't get broken.
