I'm missing the belhousing bolts (well I lost them) and I'm not sure what size they are. I know the 2 upper bolts are 3/8 but not sure what the 2 lower ones are. I believe they are a metric bolt but was hoping someone here could cnfirm the size and thread. Thanks

no one has a belhousing bolt around that they could measure for me?????

Should be 7/16"-14, but I don't recall the length.
There are, however, three sizes of bellhousing-to-engine screw listed in most FSMs - 3/8"-16, 7/16"-14, and M12. 7/16" is close to 11m/m (the two sockets/wrenches will interchange,) so I think it will be a case of one fits and the other not.
Note that on RENIX blocks the larger screws are 7/16"-14, but it was never clear when they used the metric screws, or even if they were on the AMC 242.
