Ouch! That sucks. Friggin' scumbags stealing the fruits of an honest man's hard labor.
I'll keep my eyes open as I peruse the classifieds.

I came into work today and saw it sitting on the axles. Fawked up, that is for sure. Looks like the RE TB sheared(hopefully John will take some pics and post them up). Sucks having to leave your rig, but sucks even worse to come back to it without any wheels.

Thanks for all the posts guys, I hope I get it back on an off chance but I am sure not holding my breath.
I was Going to order sliders on JCROffroad, but it asked about the suspension, I don't know what type it is, Can anyone (John maybe) tell me which to order?

Id take care of your suspension first. Sliders, or rocker replacements, can be had later. Saftey on the road is better than rocker protection.

looks like they just want to know what control arm set-up you have. If you don't have long-arms or TNT frame stiffeners they you should pick the stock/short-arm option. If you have long-arms pick which ever brand you run. If long-arms are in the future you might want to find out the difference in the sliders so you can plan for the future. The different options probably each mount alittle different to work better with your jeeps set-up.

The problem is he has some home fab long arms on it, so he wasn't sure which belly pan he has.Just take some pics of it Dan and e-mail them to JCR.

The home fab poop-pipe LA's on it are garbage and need to be ditched.

OK, I'll try and keep this short.
Got an anonymous tip that the guy involved works in town @ a large tire store chain. Had a discussion with a manager friend of MINE @ another store, he calls the store manager where the suspect works and filled him in on the story. Manager pulls the guy in his office, explains it, the guy fesses up. Stolen tires are removed from the guys Jeep, dude is FIRED ON THE SPOT. (CHEERS FOR LES SCHWAB POLICIES!!!!!) Supposedly, this guy is not the person who removed the tires from my customers Jeep, but it sounds like he was present or at least fully aware of where the tires came from when he got them. I am not sure yet where the wheels are, hope to know more soon.
OUR FOUR WHEELING COMMUNITY IS GREAT AND THIS PROVES IT!!!!!
I've also offered the tip-ster a cash reward or will help him out in other ways if he chooses.

That is awesome! It is very rare that someone gets their stolen stuff back but sometimes someone brags to the wrong person about it. I am sure he will get his wheels back now!
I had a friend that got his Mountain bike stolen, he filed a police report and about 6 months later he got his bike back. Not only did he get his bike back but the guy who stole it put some nice expensive acessorys on it. A little off topic but it shows that some cops are even willing to follow up on the small stuff too.

John your effort and obviously a couple of others is GREATLY appreciated!!! We do have a great community of people and that shows.
I don't believe that justice has been done, all he did was loose his job!!!!
I am willing to bet that he didn't learn much of anything from the experience.
THIS is my kind of justice:
The guys where were involved in this should bring the stuff back to the owner of the Jeep, re-install everything that was touched and then spend the rest of the day cleaning, detailing, etc the Jeep and any other projects that the owner wants done. (I know I am in dream land and on my soap box, but I can dream sometimes, right?).
Thanks again John and who ever else was involved!!!!

Thank yuo every one that had a hand in getting my stuff back (John and Tipster). As far as your dream world goes, one time two of my friends cars were egged right next to my house at like 1am and we were BBQ-ing, So we chaced them, yanked them out of there cars and made them was the cars

Glad to see this was resolved.
I have had a lot of stuff stolen from me and things vandalized and it brings a rage out in me that I do not see otherwise.
Legal action would be nice... Two minors bragged about slashing tires to the wrong kid and I nailed them with Felonies (Apparently if you are going to slash tires.. slash cheap ones...) and they paid me each month for two years... GRANTED the money was pathetic but the fact they have it on the records was nice.
Keep the honor!
Merry Christmas

Nice! Glad some semblance of justice was served. With a little luck he'll get the wheels back too, since the former Schwab employee surely knows where those went.

It doesn't happen very often, but that is great!!
Glad to see you got your stuff back. It also doesn't happen very often, but is great to see it does happen sometimes!!
Thanks again to John and the passing of information!
