no APN headers for older jeeps??

I have an 89 with the 4.0L and my manifold is cracked which i know is quite common. Now, my dad said that he would help me out as a christams present to get the problem fixed and we were planning on upgrading with a header as well the rest of the exhaust. I was about to order an apn header but noticed that it was only for 91-99. Is there another option along the same lines as the apn (ie. cheap) for us guys with older rigs? also what cat. are some of you running that have upgraded exhaust systems? I was planning on buying a flowmaster super 40 for the muffler.
