I've got a job offer in Provo that I am considering (need to make a decision today).

Does anyone need a roommate or know of somewhere I could stay relatively cheap (and obviously without a lease) until I am able to find my own place (guessing 2-3 weeks) starting at the beginning of the year?

Figured I would check here first :wave1:

Thanks :)

It's not that bad, I'm just trying to stir up Spencer and the rest of the Utard County gang.
That will be cool if you make it out this way (Utah). I don’t think you will have a problem finding a place to stay.
Good luck with the search.

Israel is gonna be a resource for this, he's a Utah Co resident and avid renter. There are several Utard Co folks here that may have a line on a spare bedroom. Guess you could always flop in Ryan's garage and make 1.5hr each way commute:wow: .

What's the employment opp?

Ryan is my backup plan....but a 60 mile commute is not something I would want.

I would be a server admin for an advertising company

You might give Tom "mtntech" a pm. He lives in Draper. Only about 20 min commute.

Oddly, I thought this would be a good place to introduce myself...
I am Danny, I live in Salt Lake City and enjoy my blue '97 Jeep XJ.

As for the question at hand, wish I could be of some help, but really don't know much about Utah County except that I like to get through it as quickly as possible when headed to Moab.

Then again I try to get to Moab as quickly as possible anyways.

I'll have to check with the better half, but we have a bedroom that is just being used for toys right now that you could occupy for a few weeks. You'd be public enemy #1 with the kids for displacing thier toys, though.

We're at the mouth of Spanish Fork canyon which is about 15 minutes from downtown Provo and 2 hours, 45 minutes from Moab (going the speed limit and no stops. :) )

Whats your problem? I can make it to Moab in that amount of time from my place....with stops. :D

It would be tight but I might be able to handle a Intrepid few weeks. I basically have 1 bedroom town home with a small den downstairs. I have the den setup for sleeping during the day (which I switch back to day shift from night shift on JAN 3rd). I think it could be worked out, let me know.

Thanks for the offers, but it doesn't look like this job is going to work out this time.....so I'm still looking.

If any of you have a lead on an IT related job, feel free to let me know about it ;)
