2" lift need a drop bracket?

I'll be finishing up a 2"lift (front coil/ rear add a leaf) on my Wife's XJ tonight.
I know on my 3" lift I needed a drop bracket for the control arm.
I hadn't thought about that untill last night.
How will I know if I need control arm adjustment before I get her aligned on Monday?
I've not seen much help concerning the 2" lift.
3" seems to be the minimum most people go, but my Mother-in-law has trouble getting in my Jeep, so we thought we would keep her lift to a minimum.
Any input would be apreciated!
Thanks!

a 3" lift you wont need drop brackets for the control arms....

I think you mean....you needed a drop bracket for the trackbar.

With 2", you have a few options - you can re-drill the hole on the axle side TB mount...

You can get a drop bracket (which i'd stay away from - it will put your TB out of parallel with your drag link, causing bump-steer)

You can get an adjustable trackbar....

or...you can just put the trackbar back in its original hole - however, your jeep will want to "even" itself out, and that hole will eventually get ovaled out.

My vote...get an adjustable trackbar....

Wow!
You are correct sir. Track Bar! My Bad!!!
See what no sleep does to the brain. :speepin:

Do you think the effects of stock track bar would be bad for a few months?
I'd like to get through the holidays before dropping more cash.

you will be fine for a while. the front axle will be shifted about 1/2-3/4" to the drivers side. if you dont plan on lifting it higher, you could drill a hole on the axle mount to compensate.
