Darn tootin, thats all we do up here isn't it?

Football is fun to, I am surprised that many people on this side of the water watch it. Always seemed like more of a European sport.

yes I know what he was talking about, it was a joke.

Yep, got Center Ice from Comcast and everything. As with all SF Bay Area sports teams, the Sharks look good on paper and have talent but are mediocre at best. Goal tending sux, SJ has traded away two promising goalies for the zero between the pipes now. Sure wish Marty Tureco was a Shark They play like there is lead in the skates, the HP pavillion ice is slushy, the boards have no action, the fans can't tell hooking from holding. One bright side is thy have a singer named Ann Marie who can really sing the US National Anthem well.

On the Game: I like the touch-up offside rule, the relaxing of the two line pass and more room in the attacking zones.. Need to tighten up on the line changes, sure looks like too many men out there to often. The shoot out sux, taking a team sport down to a one on one decision. Icing, what a joke. Most icing calls the team is still allowed to change the lines or the game breaks for a TV time out.

Driving the 50 miles each way to San Jose still beats the 80's when I used to have to drive 400 each way to see the Kings though.

x2 on the shoot out. team sport comes down one guy, all to make it more exciting, BS nothing is more exciting that sudden death OT. If they tie, they tie, if you want a winner let it go like the play-offs, but I don't see why a tie isn't good enough.

Bah, could go one about a few new rules, but I really never watch the sport, until play-offs, even then not till late into it.
Great game tho.

unfortunately I have been a Kings fan for the last 25+ years.....:banghead:

AND WE STILL SUCK:gonnablow Every year it looks like it is going to get better, but we continue to lay an egg. I also follow Vancouver & the Pens but will never be a Micky Mouse Duck fan:nono: :puke: even if they did win a cup.

Yup...even down here in the south! You'd be suprised at the fan base the Trashers, Canes, and Lightning have!

Detroit...they may have the oldest players, but they still kick ass every year.
