I am in the process of swapping my auto for a manual (NV3550) in my 98 XJ. I am hoping to find help with some wiring questions. I could not find answers to these specific questions through searching.
1) I currently have some sort of lock that will not allow me to shift out of park until the brake pedal is depressed. How can I disable this and enable the clutch interlock instead?
2) What needs to be done to get the reverse lights to work with the manual trans?
3) Jeep shows different ecms for automatic and manual transmissions. There are several to choose from for the manual trans. How can I make sure that I get the right one?
