i sell parts to AEM they are in hawthorne, real nice guys. they used my buddies girlfriends trailblazer SS for an intake, and same deal, she got to keep the first one

AEM used my XJ for there pre 96 kit....Super cool people to deal with. They rent you a car....do a free before and after DYNO run...well worth it!

I'm tempted to throw my 99 intake on my 98 and bring it down.
But I've been told that the engine was actually shifted like 3/4 inch towards the passenger side in 99 for added clearance for that fancy whiz bang intake they put on it. That of course would mean every other "99" kit would be off by just under an inch.
